Dorothy, I always tell my students “a little diet never hurt!” when they get upset from getting dirty playing and running around. I have found that in the area I work in, many kids don’t get to play freely because of the safety concerns in the area so they are more used to sitting in front of the tv or a tablet rather than play with a ball outside. My co teacher and I crave the fresh air for them and try to get them outside and moving as often as possible!
